The Painting
The double helix structure was painted in full — a completed underpainting establishing the architecture of DNA before the masking and collaboration began.

The Collaboration
67 participants each claimed a numbered section, peeled off the mask, and added their own strand to the painting. Layers of complexity emerged from dozens of individual contributions.

Complete
The finished collaborative work — a living record of shared creation.

Bioluminescence
Under blacklight, hidden DNA strands glow with phosphorescent life. The invisible layer becomes the centerpiece.
